A Northern Song qingbai ewer of related shape in Hebei Zhangjiakou Shi Xuanhua Qu wenwu baoguansuo is included in Zhongguo chutu ciqi quanji [Complete Collection of Ceramic Art Unearthed in China], Beijing, 2008, vol.3, p.155, pl.155; and a Northern Song Yaozhou celadon carved ewer with a more globular body is in Henan Shanmenxia Museum, illustrated in ibid., vol.12, p.133, pl.133.壺盤口，短頸內束，溜肩，前側開短流，後側黏燒扁平把手，短直腹，腹部斜刀滿刻連枝牡丹紋，花瓣再以篦刀劃以經脈，底部上收成圈足，通體施青釉，受刀處釉色沉積，有深淺濃淡之效。宋代酒壺常見多為球形鼓腹或者長身細流之形制，如此壺短身直壁者十分少見。長身細流之酒壺常與溫碗搭配使用，而此類短身短流之壺容積有限，更有可能為單人單壺使用。河北省張家口市宣化區文物保管所藏一件北宋青白釉印花執壺，其身型與本件執壺當屬同類，見《中國出土瓷器全集》，北京，2008年，卷3，頁155，編號155。三門峽市博物館藏一件北宋耀州窯青釉刻花執壺身形一如本品矮敦，腹部較直略鼓，可資參考，見前書，卷12，頁133，編號133。
