TWO RARE ARCHAIC BRONZE 'ZOOMORPHIC' BELT HOOKS The first Warring States/Han Dynasty; the second Ordos, 4th/3rd century BC The first unusually cast and pierced as a three-clawed chilong dragon biting a coil, possibly a small snake, issuing from the stomach of a horned beast forming the hook, the reverse with the characters Xin Lun, fitted box, 9.5cm (3 3/4in) long; the second Ordos, cast as a striding tiger with striped hide looking backwards to its coiled tail, 10cm (4in) long.
