TWO BRONZE BELT HOOKS Warring States Period One still partially gilt, cast with a hunched animal crouched above the stud on the reverse and applied with a shallow bead of iridescent yellow glass, a slender animal biting it and with tail coiling down the shaft to the bird-head terminal, 8.5cm (3 1/4in) long; and another larger, cast with a central cicada flanked on both sides by two small striding chilong, 12.5cm (5in) long.
